Psst! I can finally show you the wedding photos I took :) I was waiting for the main photographer to post her shots before I posted mine. So without further ado *breathes in* you can go see them over here on my photography blog!
I've got a myriad of emotions and they all seem to be existing in my stomach :P I'm super proud of my shots though I think it's always a little scary to share new creative endeavors! I unfortunately didn't get anytime with the Bride and Groom so that's something I really look forward to happening for my next wedding. You know me I'm a sucker for love!
congratulations!
ReplyDeletei once photographed a wedding of a friend of mine, and unfortunately i was not very pleased by my effort afterwards. i felt it was so different to photograph when someone expected it to turn out a certain way.
Gorgeous! I've always been a fan of the more "documentary" style of wedding photography. Congrats on your first wedding gig!
ReplyDeleteOooh so beautiful! Congrats Fiona!!! :) I love all the candid pictures of the bride&fgroom and the guests. And the pictures of the surroundings (road, animals, trees..) of the venue really add a lot to the whole feeling. Where the dancing ones tricky? I can see it should be difficult to stay with the color edition in those ones! I will be such a scaredy cat and move to B&W asap ;P hahahahha
ReplyDeleteBTW I love your picture in the About section of your photography blog, so fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI already took pictures at more than 4 weddings but i agree with Sara - i was a little bit unhappy with then because of all the expectations ...maybe i will post a wedding soon ;)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are super and i hope you continue to take pictures at weddings :D
ReplyDeleteAhhh you guys should post your wedding photos I would super fortunate in the fact that they had another photographer to capture all the important parts so I guess I didn't feel any stress or expectations, I do imagine it would be a lot different being the main photographer! Expectations are always tricky to meet!
ReplyDeleteThe dancing ones were super tricky, you know what I need to perfect flash photography!
Thank-you so much for all your kind words, it really makes me feel so happy :)
woow I am stunned! beautiful beautiful photographs. I would use you if I get married! big love
ReplyDeleteKatrina Sophia Blog
ahh you are too sweet I would definitely photograph your wedding!! :) :)
ReplyDeleteI love it. it's a start, right? and a good one. I hope you keep going. I'm not good when it comes to taking photos of people. or rather, I'm not comfortable doing it. it's one of the things I want to change next year...
ReplyDeleteThanks Petra :) Sometimes I'll see a photo that would be amazing of someone but end up lacking the courage to ask, I was rejected a few times in Singapore and that tends to stay with me and make me scared to ask in the future - I need to get over that!
