My birthday

The day after the party was my actual birthday, we went and got a super yummy breakfast from a place that I normally don't rate so highly (maybe the slight hangover helped there) and then sometime during the arvo we wandered down to the beach.

I had an awesome swim in the ocean before Emaya and Ben helped pool seaglass finds and I came away with many new awesome pieces for my collection :)

 And a few cute shells, rocks and coral too :)

That night we headed down to the plaza to grab some Grill'd burgers. I got to try their reckordelig slushi which came with popping candies that you pop in your mouth before sipping down your drink (two thumbs up). We also got our arcade on.  There's this game I love called Dead Storm Pirates - Ben and I are rank 64 and the competitve nature in me keeps wanting to climb that scoreboard.

The game also does a cute thing where they rate the couples compatibility (obviously appealing to my lame sensibilities and probably what got me hooked in the first place!)

I like playing the silly little games too that let you win tokens to buy toys from the front cabinet :)

My friends all pooled their tokens to buy me toy loot that day which I thought was extra sweet :)

Eating at Grill'd

Even though I'm not the biggest fan of sweet potatoes they do some yummo chips with them :)

My tasty burger with pineapple, I know some people don't rate pineapple on burgers or pizza but I'm a fan :)

Classy them-ing! Where I live lacks the coolness you'd find in a city so to finally get a grill'd was actually pretty cool for us :P
