Port Macquarie Skate Park

Before Ben left we took a road trip down to N.S.W to visit his brother Paul and his family :) They live in Port Macquarie a lovely little town that I had a fun exploring for a couple of days. We actually spent a lot of it at the skatepark which I really didn't mind because it was the prettiest skate park I'd ever been to! I'm waiting on some film shots to come back but thought I'd post my digital shots up first :)

The shoreline was lined with these amazing painted rocks which I fell in love with - some had sweet messages and tributes :)
epp! Snow White scooter girl :)

That's Ben's brother Paul doing some sort of skateboard action :)

Different day, different shirt :)

Still in love with the rocks :)

Ben doing something or other :) ha - you know I'm crazy for him!

I always get a bit scared watching them drop in

That's Sid above (Paul's son) getting his scooter action on :)

And luckily last, Paul, Freyja (his daughter) and me! I took a cute photo of Freyja and her Mum on film so fingers crossed it turns out, they are a super sweet family :)

  5. Beautiful. I love the skate park right next to the beach. And those rocks are very cool. I'd love to know the story behind some of the inscriptions.

  8. Paul and Ben are serious skaters! Wow, so scaring to me. As a little girl I wanted so hard to be good with the skate (I guess Back to the future's fault?) but I was not near as cool as I would have dreamt, more into lame territory ;) Luckily I scored better with the rolling skates :) nice colorful rocks, love your pic of you seating on them, and cute family pic the last one!

    1. they're crazy, Paul's partner just posted on facebook about Paul having possibly fractured his foot on a kids backyard skate ramp..oops! Too extreme for me!

I too wanted to be a cool skater, but yeah, I think I'm just too uncoordinated! I also bought some roller skates and found I'm yet again, pretty terrible, though probably didn't give either of them enough time or practice :P
