Blue Tiger Butterfly

We get lots of butterflies in our garden around this time of the year, it's so super nice! Unfortunately this little blue tiger butterfly was in his final stages - they are such delicate creatures. My collection of bugs and rocks and feathers and shells keeps growing, and I'm super lucky to lovingly add this guy to the collection :)

    1. It was really sad, we put him somewhere comfortable for his last moments, because he was initially just on some gravel, I wanted to be able to do much more for him though :(

  2. Beautiful pastel colors in the wings, love how you paired him with the bowl. Your garden sounds like the nicest place to be right now :)

  6. What a beautiful butterfly! it's so sad that they have such a short life span...
Here in Portugal we have a single species of butterflies situated in Vila Real, that was national geographic magazine article :-) they're blue and have a nice start in life.
