Graveyard

Petra's post reminded me how much I used to enjoy taking pictures of graveyards, so when I drove past one the other day I thought it was a nice opportunity to finish off the last frames of film I had left and to pull out the digital too :)

So beautiful, I sometimes get scared people might think I'm disrespecting the dead by visiting and taking photos but I hope, when I've passed, strangers walk past and visit me :)

  1. What surprisingly cheery photos given the location. I don't think it's disrespectful at all.

    1. I feel they have their own unique (dare I say slightly tacky) aesthetic, which I really love :)

    1. So great to have on your plaque, I love it too, I felt in a way connected to that person without knowing anything about them, except the obvious, their name, when they died and who loved them :) Which maybe you don't need to know much more!
