I'm definitely a big advocate of delightful surprises especially if they show up randomly in your mailbox!
I received this amazing package below from the lovely Cazz aka Nerd Burger. Her blog is super wonderful and nerdy and colourful and sweet and her vlogs always make me smile!
The letter was filled with lots of fun things and even one of her handmade necklace! Gasp so awesome, definitely go check out her etsy shop if cute, kitschy jewellery is your thing :) :)
I also have an amazing friend who lives in a Japan - she was actually a teacher I worked with when I lived over there and we have stayed in contact since. She always sends me the sweetest postcards!
Japan how are you always so amazingly cute!

Heather I still owe you the best mail in the World!
DeleteBoth are wonderful! That package is definitely super cute, but I also love the post card.
ReplyDeleteI'm fortunate enough to have a Japanese penpal too. We've lost touch a few times, but we've still been at it, on and off, for over a decade.
I always admire their handwriting. It's always so neat!
It is! I wonder if it's because to recognise Japanese characters they have to be pretty precise whilst we can get more loose/crazy with lettering and it still be a recognisable word - or perhaps that's just the effect of being the alphabet of your first language? Random Fee thoughts of the day!
DeleteHappy Letter days :)
ReplyDeleteI really love your mail posts, for different reasons: One, I feel like I'm opening the mail with you and it's so fun to see what you get. And two: because I really do love how you style these photos. The white background and all of your colorful things.
