Polaroid Challenge 2015 /5

This month's (or May's - I'm a little behind!) polaroid actually resulted with a half formed photo - woohoo! Ben took it of me, outside on a relatively overcast day perhaps the reason it's a little muted?  I did read somewhere the new impossible Polaroid film has more of a blue tone which is a little sad because I was trying to highlight my new hair colour.  I swore for most of my life I would never be blonde but then the idea started to creep into my head, I really liked the idea of bad regrowth and dark eyebrows (no sarcasm, I swear).  For the past year or so I have resisted doing anything to my hair, super hard because I'm not the biggest fan of my original hair colour.  I read online if I coloured my hair I would have to strip back that colour before being able to strip my real hair colour - which sounded horrific.

I'm going to do a post all about the bleaching because I bleached my friend's Emaya's hair too and her hair is black black and it was all relatively easy.  I'm not sure how long the blonde will last I really want cute pastel hair but for now it's really fun to have a different hair colour :)

I've got soooo many photos to edit from my trip, I only took one roll of film despite waking up every morning and reminding myself to take more film! I failed there but I did take A LOT of photos and I can't wait to get them all edited and blog ready.  I'm always a bit slow and out of whack when I come back from a holiday so excuse the down time!

Also, if you don't know this post is part of the Polaroid Challenge 2015, you can see my past photos here and read more about getting involved here by the lovely peeps at The Cat you and Us blog!

Missed all you guys - it's good to be back :)

    1. I vote Blonde! Although that "does to your hair" line is slightly worrying - you only live once or something or other :P

  3. great photo. the blonde suits you very well and should make a great base for whatever paster you choose from there. i don't know what you've got in mind, but i see a soft - even silvery - violet.
so excited to see the vacation pictures, i just know they're going to be gorgeous!

    1. I'm thinking I might even have to do one more dying to get it super white - luckily Ben has graciously agreed to be my new stylist :P I'm so conflicted on the colours, I love all of them but it's funny my heart seems to be leading me into the pastel violet direction! I've never had blonde hair so I was thinking I should enjoy it for a bit longer - it's hard though since I've opened up this fun World of change :)

  9. The Polaroid challenge sounds like so much fun but it sure would take a lot of time. You sure looks cute and I do like the hair! I think experimenting with hair and color is so much fun! I do think the pastel hair trend would look great on you!

    2. I've put it on hold for now matey, my hairdresser was doing it gradually and I wasn't liking the colour it faded to each time, so I chickened out lol! But maybe I'll try again in the future :) The lighter ashy brown I have going on right now is hiding my greys better than the dark colours though so I'm planning to definitely stay light lol! :) You are so pretty - everything you do with your hair looks gorgeous - have fun experimenting with the colours! :) catch up soon lovely, hope you and ben are awesome <3 <3

    3. Totes understand chickening out and hey if the ashy brown is working then it's awesome to stick with a winning formula :) And awww to your comment, you're always the sweetest Heddie *big huge hugs* and you know I think your super adorable/cute/pretty too!!

    1. Thanks Trishie!! and oh my gosh how good is Married at first sight, I'm three episodes in now - such a sucker for bad reality tv - especially if romance is involved :P

  12. You are blonde!! Looking gorgeous there! I have stripped my hair when I dyed my hair totally black. Stripping killed my hair and it took a bit of patience for it to go back normal but dont fret, it is the best way!!
