Graveyard Ceramics

I had the thought the other day that it would be really cool to do graveyard inspired ceramic pieces. SO with the intention of gathering inspiration Ben and I hit up some local cemeteries who did not disappoint in the ceramics department! Unfortunately the idea has since fallen by the wayside but perhaps will resurface again!

How pretty are they! It seems they only appear on older graves too, the newer graves tend only to have fake flowers leaving me wondering why the ceramic guys stopped being a popular grave adornment?

  1. I've never noticed graveyard ceramics before - although I generally avoid graveyards. They are so beautiful - especially the one that appears to be multiple succulents (maybe).

  6. oh! graveyard ceramics, I don't think you can find many here although the pretty delicate girl figurine reminds me of Lladró pieces (a very popular ceramic brand in Spain, have you heard about it before?) Ben did an amazing job with your necklace, is he keeping up with his ceramic work? hugs!

    1. A quick google search and the brand is super familiar, she definitely has a similar thing going on - cute, pretty and pastel! Ben is doing awesome ceramic work, I'll have to show some of his big sculptural pieces off on here sometime!
