We go to this spot a fair bit being our nearest falls with super pretty walking tracks. We do seem to always explore the same section though so this time instead of venturing right we went left and ended up at a secret weir with it's very own "drowning machine"
gorgeous. and the lovers? a part of your 100 strangers project?
ReplyDeletedamn I wish! Just some friends who I yelled out to kiss because it was nice lighting :)
DeleteWhat a lovely spot and what beautiful photos. I love the color in all of these. A place like this seems like such romantic paradise.

it's a really nice place and you hardly ever see anyone else there, so it's like our secret spot too!
Deletethe 'drowning machine' sounds rather scary! but it looks like such a beautiful place, these photos are stunning :)
ReplyDeleteI know right! I've never seen a sign quite like that one :P
DeleteLove that last pic. And what is that orange fungus looking stuff?!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew more about them! When I was naming the pics as I uploaded to flickr I thought of doing a search for their names but ended up just calling them "orange fungi" :P
Delete"Drowning Machine"? That sounds terrifying. Loving all the fungi pictures, they are such fascinating organisms. If I had to do it all over again I would probably be a mycologist.
ReplyDeleteoh really? That would be so cool, but hey then we may not have Gamer Wife!
DeleteLove the kissing picture. And I love your profile picture here on the blog ;)
ReplyDeleteThey're a pair of cuties! and I decided to spruce things up a bit :) :)
DeleteLove the kissing and all the little bits. Ohmy that picture with Ben and the Drowning machine sign gives me the chills!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh Ben always does scary things! I'm such a scaredy cat but I think I've gotten better at accepting his crazy moves :)
