It was pretty much how I imagined it would be inside, a treasure trove full of years worth of collecting, by a grumpy old couple. When we walked in the older lady was clearly fed up by a sweet pair of boys who couldn't make up their mind which gems to buy, patience obviously not her forte :p
We still had fun exploring and I went home with three pretty gems. Ben remarked as we were leaving that I happened to pick the most obnoxiously girly and fake gems from the whole shop, and when I looked down at our two different piles, examining Ben's earthy choices, I had a little chuckle at my selection :p
I'll make sure to post a photo of the gems I picked :)
This shop looks glorious! Looking forward to seeing what you chose.

ReplyDeleteTee hee. I remember seeing places like this on our camping trip through the Alberta badlands when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's good to pull over and stop hey :)
ReplyDeleteGosh I'd love to visit that shop!
ReplyDeleteThis shop looks like a great place to wander :D
ReplyDeletethat shop looks so awesome and cluttered!
ReplyDeleteThis is so different for me! We don't have here this type of shops next to the beaches or campings. It looks to me like out of an adventure/mistery movie :)
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a drive away from the beach but in a really random location, I guess why we have always avoided going in!!
