I'm excited to take part in Floral Friday, a monthly project started by the lovely Trishie from Under Lock and Key
The very first Floral Friday is all about new beginnings - a new bloom. Here in Australia we're in full summer mode and the lovely Frangipanis are uncurling their buds to release their pretty scent and happy blooms :) We currently have a tree outside our house and I remember having a tree at the house I grew up in with lots of lovely memories associated with it. Summer makes me happy and the New Year with all it's possibilities and new beginnings makes me super excited :)
Want to take part in Floral Friday yourself?
Floral Fridays is a monthly photography project with different themes each month. This series is about fun and taking time out to smell the flowers. To play along, please email Trishie (trishie@underlockandkeyblog. com) for next month's theme
Make sure you check out the other bloggers involved below too!

That is so pretty! I'd be quite happy if I had a frangipani tree outside my house :) It's freezing in NYC right now so I'm just basking in your description of summer and the warmth of this image.
