Goodbye Mishka

Death seems to be wanting me, to pay attention lately. Mishka took her last breath Saturday morning and now her bodies lies out in bens garden. I noticed since coming back from Grandma's she wasn't the same cat I had preciously left. Her meow was different, she sat in odd spaces with wide eyes and she seemed to cry at Ben and I. The last time I saw her, the cute pinks in her nose and ears had all but vanished, greyness had taken over and death had embarked. It's an amazing journey life, for all creatures, I smile and hope Mishka had an amazing one :). She definitely helped me in my own journey of overcoming my cat fear, thank-you Mishka for sticking it out with me, you are very missed.

Mishka the Cat

My Nambour cat photography project is going really well. I've already photographed a bunch of lovely people with their cats and have a whole stack of others to do when I get back from Tasmania, it's all very exciting.

For now, here are some shots I took of Mishka a while back. I find some days she'll let me photograph her and some days she doesn't :p

I hope Mishka will forgive me for spelling her name wrong, oops, she has been extra loving of late and thus willing to let me photograph her, ka-ching! I think she really misses her owner, Daz, who is partying it up hard in Thailand at the moment. I keep telling her, he is coming back but I don't think she believes me :P

She really is a nice cat she just likes to make sure Ben and I feel the hay fever wrath of her fur!
