Thrifty Sunday Finds /3

I like seeing what other people get from their thrift adventures so I need to remind myself to share mine too :)

Mugs are notorious for being non-respected in our house so I'm always on the lookout to build my collection.  I try and buy obnoxiously fee mugs too so they won't be used but so far that hasn't been a successful deterrent :P

An owl tea cosey to add to my collection which is 100% inspired by Thimble and her awesome collection :) I wouldn't mind finding a pineapple tea cosey next!

A Siamese cat to add to my cat collection, I'm really picky so that collection is growing very slowly!

And lucky last some gold jellies that you may have seen me wearing in my Byron adventures :)

  1. Love all of these, but esp your jelly sandals. I remember having a glittery blue pair in the '90s. :)

  4. The shoes! *swoon* :) so funny about the mugs, you must start with the "don't drink" post-it tactic ;) In school I had a friend that was sooo much into horoscope mugs, that I knew that I would get one "virgo" mug every time she had a gift for me ;)

    1. Ah you're a virgo Damaris! Ben is a virgo, apparently Taurus and Virgo get along well because we're both earth signs :) It's kind of an on going joke in our house about unsolicited mug use so I'm not sure even the post-it would work :P That's amazing about the horoscope mug obsession, sounds like something I could easily fall into :P

    1. I can knit a straight line :) I've always been too lazy to learn anything more technical but being able to knit my own outrageous tea cosies would be awesome!

    1. To be honest they're not that much more in real life but super cheap from the thrift store and a good pair of shoes to be able to clean really well :)
