More fun presents have been coming my way!
Ben found those two white cockatoo feathers in our backyard, they're very pretty birds and very noisey! He also got me a cute zine and a vegan cookbook. I think I'm going to blog about my food adventures it's been an interesting journey :)
My friend Emaya is in Tanzania at the moment and sent me a postcard! She also got to do selfies with roadside giraffes which is pretty much my ultimate dream!
When you recieve Zadie from the previous participant you also got sent a special token and then you make a little token for the next person who receives her, which I think is just the sweetest idea :)
And finally, after Ben's Mum saw my feather collection, she sent me some cute feathers from her own chickens in the mail!
lucky you :) xoxo
ReplyDeletesuper lucky!
DeleteOh, I didn't know you liked feathers. I always thought they were so beautiful and unique with all different colors and patterns. :) btw I just saw your wedding photography page and your photos are so BEAUTIFUL!!! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteI've got a small feather collection, I did have them displayed in a spoon cabinet which I thought was ingenious but they get destroyed by bugs(?!?) so easily, I put little moth balls in to stop the deterioration but it was a bit of a losing battle so now I've just got them sealed up in plastic but I need to investigate more into how to keep and display them! Thanks for the photo niceness too! :) :)
DeleteAw, the last pic is my fav! That's too sweet. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cat card she sent was totes the sweetest too!

DeleteRight back atcha! :) xxx
DeleteHow sweet of Ben's mom!! I love how you collect and have a group of people who also think of you when they see something and send them your way! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's probably the most sweetest thing ever to be in others thoughts :)
DeleteAww how thoughtful of Ben's mom with the feathers, and they are super pretty! I bet having the cat postcard so near is also getting me even more excited with them ;) One of my work mates lives with a parrot and he usually brings us feathers to the office, I should take a picture of our office collection although it's not too assorted :)
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely take a photo! I just caught up with Ben's mum again and she handed me a huge bundle of peacock feathers from her friend's peacock (apparently they malt every so often!) hopefully I can get a photo, although it might be tricky on my small little light set up in my room :P
Deletemy letter is on it's way to you, yeahh
ReplyDeleteOh yay - super exciting!
