Melbourne: Day 15

Day 15 was my last full day and I feel like my holiday went out with a bang :) We borrowed Speck's car and did a little day trip to Brighton Beach where they have amazing and colourful painted beach houses. We also got to steal Wally for the day - told you he'd make a come back! Before all the fun beach action we did stop in at an incredible vegan bakery called Mister Nice Guys.

I got a mini red velvet cupcake - though hard to pick from their pretty cabinets!

Inside the shop was so pretty and quirky!

Remember the show Dinosaurs?

I purchased a BLT bagel which I gave an 8/10 and I also got a Vegemite scroll for the road (which you'll see later) rating in at 7.8/10. Emaya bought a sausage roll for the ride and that got an amazing 10/10. I make my own version at home which I'm proud of but I must admit these were even better!

When we got to the beach I was giddy like a school girl at all the coloured beach boxes. I also took way too many photos, so yup this post is HUGE!

Nice peeps thank you for taking our picture for us :)

The cheezymite scroll!

And the award winning (in my eyes) sausage roll!

Those two above photos are a hint as to the blog posts to come :)

At night we went out to Lord of the Fries, which is a vegetarian burger joint with lots of vegan options.

The nuggets and chips were out of the world

And this Big Mark was my last meal in Melbourne :)
Miss you food!!!!!

That almost wraps up my Melbourne blogging, I do have two sneaky last posts, which I'll post in the next few days!

  2. Your photos are so dreamy! I could get lost in them forever.

Hiro is off to Australia for work soon. I wish we could go with him. Then I would have more of a chance of stalking you and bugging you about your amazing collections. I am creepy like that. Perhaps it is a good think that I cannot go?

  3. Space Invader beach hut! And Melbourne seems like a vegan paradise. I'd be hard pressed to find that many options around Montreal.

    1. It was so flippin' awesome to have that many options! Now I'm back home though, I'm back into my normal cooking routine and being creative when I eat out which can be fun too :) Though I would never knock back abundant options!

So many favorite pics, I love the one with the people in the beach & all the pics with the houses (can't choose, ha!). Oh! And Luna Park, another gem!
