Biscuit/Cookie Recipe for you to try!

Everyone loves eating yummy stuff, right?
Well today I'm sharing a super easy and yummy biscuit recipe.

On a side note I once had a very confusing conversation about what a biscuit was, apparently Americans call, what we know as scones here in Australia, biscuits!

Anyhoo here are the ingredients you will need!
BISCUIT
150g Soft Butter ( I zipped mine in the microwave for 10 seconds)
3/4 cup caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
2 1/2 cups of plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
2tsp milk
ICING
1 cup icing sugar
2 tbsp warm milk
food colouring

Here is how you make them
  •  Blend butter, sugar vanilla and egg until smooth
  • Then add flour, baking powder and milk and mix till combined
  •  Lightly knead mixture until it comes together
  • Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate for 40 minutes
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
  • Roll out dough to half a centimeter thickness
  • Use cookie cutter to make biscuits
  • Pop in oven for 25 min. or until lightly brown, take out, cool!
  • Combine icing sugar and milk until smooth and add food colouring
  • Ice, add decorations if so desired and eat!

To me they tasted exactly like the Arnotts hundred and thousands cookies
Do they still see them in the shops? Anyway if they don't you can make your own! Ta daaaaaa
