Vintage Pink Tinsel Christmas Tree

With it now the day before Christmas here in Australia I have to show you the most awesome tinsel tree I got from the thrift store :) It was marked at 50 cents but since the store was having a 50% off sale for I got it for 25 cents...score!

How amazing is it? It's not very tall maybe around 30cm but it's got a bunch of vintage ornaments on it that remind me of my childhood, it's also pink and tinsel so it pretty much ticks all of my boxes.  The only downside is that a few of the ornaments are velvet but that's a whole other discussion for another day :p

On that note, I'm going to sign off from the online World and come back in 2014! (How weird is it to say that?) I didn't get to finish my Film Reviews so I'll make sure to finish that off along with lots more adventures. It's been a real treat to be able to blog and share 2013 with you guys and to receive so many lovely comments in return has been utterly amazing, thank-you from the bottom of my heart :)

  11. Whoa. That is a mega score! I once dated a guy with a silver tinsel tree. It was hideous and amazing all at the same time.

Velvet...ohoh I have a love-hate relationship, I do not like velvety things at all but on the other side I melt for velvet dresses, weirdo me? :P
